Tips For Usage

The Amebis Presis Translation System will usually not produce a perfect translation. The translation is intended for a rough understanding of the original text or as a raw translation for further manual editing. Nevertheless, the quality of automatic translation depends on some factors you can influence. For better translations, follow the instructions below.

• Please enable JavaScript and Cookies to work with this web site.
• Proper nouns should be capitalized. Sentences should begin with a capital letter. Please note that names of languages, days of the week and month names are not capitalized in Slovene.
• Do not use ALL UPPERCASE LETTERS.
• Text to translate should be grammatically correct, since it helps to beter analyse it. You can use Amebis Besana program package for proofing texts in Slovenian language.
• Please enter characters with diacritics correctly. Type "kaša" or "ka^sa" (if the Slovene keyboard is not installed on your system), and not "kasa", "kasha" or "kas"a".
• Punctuation marks (comma, full stop, semicolon, colon, question mark, exclamation mark etc.) should be followed, and not preceded, by a space. Type a space before opening and after closing parentheses, except if the closing parenthesis is followed by a punctuation mark.
• All texts submitted for translation in this interface will be archived and used for improvement of our system.
• The online demo version of the Amebis Presis Translation System is limited to translating texts up to 2000 characters in length. Adding user translations is disabled in the online demo version.

(B) BETA Version

You can test a trial version of Amebis Presis Business Edition on your computer. The version contains the English-Slovene, Slovene-English and German-Slovene translation module, which will work until the end of this month. MS Windows 98 or later required.
